My grandson, who is in the 4th grade, just completed a project called Glowing Water. We don’t know how to graph it. We took 4 different colored highlighters and let them soak in water for 30 minutes each. When we put the colors under the black light the yellow was the best and the blue didn’t glow at all because it was too dark. The pink and green were a close second. The glow comes from phosphor in the highlighters. How do we graph it when we only used 1 highlighter per color?

Sounds like a fun project, but it isn’t really an “experiment” in the sense that nothing quantitative (i.e. number based variables) was actually measured. The best way to present the results would be table with the observations listed for each color.

Please tell me where the project about how long people live is located? Going to record grave marker info? I can’t find it.
